Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Why is reprimand so difficult? Background; Girl 'Crystal' born 1/11/13, we re-homed her June 18th this year, to a quiet retired couple home, with no other pets. Good natured little soul, who desperately wants to please. We've been very bad today. Pee on Dad's carpet, poop on Dad's rug. Then when the poor old boy had a nap this afternoon, we got a hold of his 'custom made pinz nez' and did a 50% demolition job on them. We were read our rites, and put in the kitchen/sin bin for 20 mins or so. I had a cry at the door, because being with Dad means, fun, food and company, when Mum's at work. I was then careful to curl up with him and watch the TV, cos I know he likes that, whilst all the time behaving like a little church mouse. Later at tea time, he got his cookies out! I just gave him the baleful, corner of the eye look and a kiss and hey presto I got a tiny bit. More important I'm back in the good books. Why are these little dogs so irrisistably cute - I can't stay mad at her for longer than 5 minutes at a push! |

| Mine has mind control over humans and get EXACTLY what she wants! Discipline around here is WAY too easy! Yorkie mind control Has to be the reason for leniency!

| Lol, you can't stay mad. Some of my pups tore up the insides of one of my husband's house shoes this morning. I can't blame them, they are nice tasty leather house shoes. I blame my dh. You would think he would learn after all these years of having yorkies. I always tell him to just put your shoes up, don't leave them on the floor.

| The worse thing is all the dogs have a toilet paper fetish. They get a hold of a roll and unravel is, shred it, kill it, chew it into itty bitty pieces... And when you come home they look at you, sitting in the middle of the mess they have made and they're SO STINKIN PROUD OF THEMSELVES... It's impossible to be mad at them, lol.

| Lol, don't we wish. You know the saying, 'you can't teach an old dog a new tricks'.

That's when I come in and they're ripped and shredded and dragged to the front door to make sure I don't miss it, and EVERYONE is in different corners of the living room, giving ME the stink eye. It's like you see this? Look at what you made us do! We would not have had to have done this to punish you if you had been HOME like you were supposed to be. So NOW you have to clean this mess up. So THERE!!
