Now the only issue I have is that when someone comes to the door all the dogs are going crazy wanting to see who it is so I usually ask the person at the front door to step off the porch before I open the front door to the house. It really makes me nervous answering the door to strangers since we are way out in the country. We got really lucky about 6 months ago and found a really nice walk through gate with extentions that fit perfectly in our entrance way. When we come in our house the kitchen it to the left and the living room it to the right so we put the gate to the right as we come in the door. It has worked out great because now when we have to bring in groceries I can just close the gate and keep the dogs in the living room while we unload everything. We have found all of our walk through gates at either Goodwill stores or at garage sales and we have paid from $5 to $10 for them. Some have bars closer together than others.

| Unfortunately, you open the front door here and you are on the street practically. I would totally panic if anyone got passed me. It seems that everyone finds the one that best suits them..lol, everyone is different. |
