| New Member/Sweater and Growth Question Hi! First off I want to introduce myself. I have a 5.5 - 6 month old Yorkie and Chi mix named Valentino. Currently he's 6.2 pounds! Which brings me to my question. I have found an adorable cashmere sweater that I want to get him for the winter. Being summer and much too hot for such a thing, it's currently discounted so I'd prefer to snatch it up now. However, I'm not sure how much growing little guy has left to do. He currently has a 12.5" girth and an 8" neck. This sweater has a 13" girth and an 8" ribbed neck that can comfortably stretch to 8.5". Anyone want to weigh in as to how likely it'll still fit come winter? Thanks in advance! |

| I thought perhaps pictures of his body build might help since he is a mix. I think he trends towards a yorkie body but I could be mistaken. I know these aren't the best pictures but usually I'm just trying to get his face! |

| Welcome to YorkieTalk! Your little guy is adorable! Such a sweet looking face! As for your question, I think he should be slowing down on growth and won't get too much bigger. There are other members on here that can probably give you a better answer though.

| He is so cute! I have no idea about the growth though. Barney, 7 months, still fits comfortably in his clothes I purchased for him at 3 months. They were a little large when I got them. |

| I'd you said it stretched? It might still fit him. How about buy current size and next size up. Try both and return the one that doesn't fit. |

| My boy teddy wears the clothes I bought him at 5 months, he is now 10 months. He probably won't grow more in height and length but will begin to fill out. It should still fit him this winter since it can stretch. |

| I can't help with what size to buy, but I did want to stop in and say welcome to YT! Check out the YT fashions area, there's some awesome seamtress's that may be able to answer you better. I think the list of YT members shops is in that section too. Visit those when you have a chance! Wonderful stuff can be found here! I'm glad your here!
