| Praying for Dutch and hoping he's chipped and was wearing an ID tag. Usually if left alone and not picked up, chased by another dog, etc., a small dog won't go far, often less than 3 miles. Be sure to ask all of the children out and about - they seem to know and see everything and if he's been darting in and out of hidey holes, maybe a kid somewhere has seen him or will help you hunt. When my first Yorkie, Scotty, was lost overnight, throngs of kids helped me look and eventually one told me exactly where he was last seen - hiding under a parked car in a driveway. The people had taken him in once they saw him but were thrilled when I came for him. I'm sure you know and have done all of the poster printing, calling AC/shelters/vets, stores in the area to be on the lookout plus all of the other things suggested by the experts. Many say put their food out in the front and back yards and things like that, old clothing of yours here and there a block or so from your house to help lead him home. Walking barefoot can leave your scent. Keep checking at your doors - he could return on his own if he's not far away. Probably with a guy this young, some child or person has already picked him and is holding him, some will even take them to the vet or call AC about a found dog or post an ad on Facebook, Twitter Dog Found, etc. I'll sure be praying this baby comes home soon.

| I don't live in NJ anymore but one of my friends up there posted it on her wall. All I can think of is this baby is only 3 months younger than my baby. I would be devastated if Bentley was lost. I had to share it here in hopes someone has found/seen Dutch. I know we have lots of rescue workers on here. I hope he gets home soon safe and sound.

| I know the feeling. It is AWFUL when any dog is lost, especially our very own. But doglovers really hate to hear anybody's baby is lost.
