Yep! Hang in there, take what you need from each post, and ask if there's something that you don't understand. We'll get you through it. We've all been new here once and everyone has different experiences to share with you when you have questions. That's where "take what you need" came in. Some will be exactly like yours, some will be sort of like yours, but all are to help you.

When you get overhelmed, try to decide what you want to learn 1st. Ask about it and learn, then ask something else. I wanted to learn everything NOW! and that wasn't good. After almost a year, I can say I've learned a lot from this site. I can also honestly say I've only touched the tip of the iceburg in things I'd like to learn about yorkies. Keep reading and asking when you need to.

I thought so too, but I spoke to the vet and the vet says that the first heat is usually very light and the owner may not have even known. I'm just glad that all checked out well with her at the vet! I was worrying myself sick. Also, we switched her food to Royal Canin and SHE LOVES IT!!!

Thanks!! I'm feeling better now. We took Fancy to the vet and she checked out well. We switched her food and she loves it! Now we are entering the "stubborn" faze...oh boy...she's a stubborn little something lol... but she's just so cute! love her to bits!

You have receved some great advice. Here is mine

1. Change her diet to a higher quality kibble. Some brands that I would consider feeding: Acana, Fromm, even Wellness, Blue Wilderness. Kibbles n Bits is really garbage, so that might be her problem.

I would not start the flea/tick or heartworm meds until she stops puking. You don't want to introduce more things to her system until she is okay.
