| Welcome to YT, so what have you named your new pup? I'm sorry about the loss of your Abu, I've recently lost a pup too...but gained 2 more!!! No one will ever replace Mia1 but it sure does help. Like people, each pup has their own personality to fall in love with, just now I was holding Mia2 (Mia1's sister) and I couldn't help but notice how different they are and yet alike...always wanting kisses and to be held! Yorkies are special, all pups are special...I've had many over the years and I honestly can say I loved them all so very much!

| YT 2000 Club Member  | Welcome and you have found the right place to express your feelings for your loss. I totally understand your loss and how it feels. I lost my precious girl last fall and even though I have 2 hew little girls to fill the void, I miss her dearly! I am crying as I type this and some days are worse then others. Keeping busy and making a memorial in memory of your little angel is helpful . Bless you and hugs!

It won't be a replacement for Abu, as he as left his paw mark on your heart forever. But, it will help you to heal. Do you have a name picked out yet? And we all just love pictures. | Welcome to Yorkietalk!! So sorry about your loss... It is difficult to lose a furry member of the family. I am glad you decided to find another Yorkie. Some people think that " they cannot ever go thru that type of loss again". I learned a great lesson ( actually from a very wise vet). You can never replace a beloved friend, but as a good dog owner, why not give another dog a loving home?? My vet said the best thing to do is go right out there and find a new companion... In my case, it became THREE! ( it is crazy how that happened!! ) Why should you postpone spoiling, feeding, cleaning, a dog that is just waiting for you??? Can't wait to meet your new Yorkie!! Please post pictures!!

| I'm sorry to hear about your loss and condolences to yorkiefan too. Our little fur babies become part of our hearts from the 1st moment we meet them, don't they? The good memories you made will help you through this terrible time. I'm excited for both of you! Waiting for a new pup is such a wonderful time. Slow, but wonderful! I'm glad you found this site. It's a great way to fill your waiting time with knowledge. You're going to be well informed when the pups come home to you! I can't wait to see pictures of their first day with both of you!

| Sorry to hear of your loss  You will learn around here whenever a member gets a new puppy it's like we are all getting a new puppy so beware we will demand lots of puppy pictures
