| decision decision should we get another yorkie. Lola, the dog we went to see tonight, is so cute! Keep thinking about her. She is $400. Not sure about her health.

| Why is she asking $400? That is high for no health records or guarantee, and no history. Best wishes to you in making your decision.

| I know. She really like us and jasmine. She wants us to adopt Lola. However, the fee is just too high for us right now. Also no health history. We took the chance with Jasmin and she turned out to be a healthy little girl.

| I can't give you advice on whether or not to spend the money, but as for adding a second yorkie, I say yes, yes, yes!!!! Barney just seemed lonely. He is definitely a dog's dog. Anytime he saw another dog, he would go crazy. Every time my in-laws would visit, he would jump all over them. They have dogs and I am convinced it's because he could smell the dogs (not that my in-laws are smelly). We got Anna, a 6 year old rescue, and it is wonderful. They run up and down the hall chasing each other. They cuddle together on the couch. She has completed our family. Potty training was a bit of a challenge, but they even work together on that. If I brag on one of them as they are peeing in the yard, the other one will run up and pee too so he/she can get in on the praise. As far as the $400 goes, Anna was $125. The shelter that we got her from paid to have her spayed, get her up to date on shots, flea and tick treatment, and a dental. I am sure the fee we paid didn't even come close to covering these costs. If your rehome has had all of these services, then that is probably why they are charging $400. I have noticed on petfinder that often they charge more for younger, smaller dogs. A few places have stated that these pups help raise money to pay for the cost of other dogs. As far as a health guarantee goes, no we don't have one. As a matter of fact, she is at the vet's today having a tumor removed. But she is definitely worth the risk and cost. |

| It's good that she is spayed. Maybe that is why the woman is asking $400 is to cover expenses, but still seems high to me unless she hands over health records. Why doesn't your DH like the microchip?
