| do you have doggie sunglasses Lola spends a lot of time outside laying on rafts with me in the lake. I am wondering if I should get her sunglasses. I have seen the dog-goggles and another type some makes on FB that are decorated up and look more like people sunglasses. So I wonder if they really stay on, are they useful or do people just get them for photo ops. I have not had luck with hats so I am not sure if it will be the same with sunglasses. I want her to be comfortable and her eyes to be protected but I don't want to throw money out and advice is welcome. I also have been searching for a small inflatable raft type boat with sides and a shade cover. She has her own raft but keeps jumping it off, because she likes to swim after toys and things, so I was thinking something with high sides would be helpful. So far the kids ones all have leg holes and I want something with a solid bottom. I am in a dilemma because she loves the water and likes to be with us outside, but I don't want it to be easy for her to float or swim away. We give her plenty of time to swim and jump in for her toy, but you know how some dogs will play non stop, so we do like to take a break and lounge. I am probably looking for something that does not exist, but I thought I would throw it out there.

| do the doggles stay on well, do they seem comfortable in them. Lola has a medium size muzzle length I am not sure if that would help if fit better than if she had sort of that flatter type real short snout. I have been looking at baby floats but most are set up with leg openings so the kids can paddle and splash. I was thinking that perhaps they don't sell any closed in ones because it might be a balance issue if the kid sits in a tube that is closed at the bottom. I found a oblong boat type raft with high sides, just no cover for shade, LOL the things we do for our pets!

YT 500 Club Member | Fritz has a couple of pairs of doggles. I like the ones that look like sunglasses because I would just think the goggle type would get hot. (I don't know that to be true though.) he likes to ride in the car with the top down and that's when he wears his. Oh, and at the beach.

| Donna, ZoE has doggles. She has the goggle looking kind, not the sunglass looking kind, but I could bring them over for Lola to try, so you'd see how they'd fit & stay on. ZoE would only wear hers while riding in my son's Jeep Wrangler, with the top off. Any other time, and she'll paw at them until she gets them off. As for a sided float...how about getting a little kids swimming pool...the kind that has the blow up rings as sides. I know they will float (as I used to put ice in one & then set adult beverages in it, & float it in the pool for easy access ). Your hubby could always cut a piece of foam sheeting to fit the bottom if you were worried about nails going through the vinyl bottom. Here's what I'm thinking off:

YT 500 Club Member | Have you seen these? I don't know if the sell their canopies separately so you could attach one. Some of their other floats have canopies.

| good ideas guys thanks, Karan, you are do for a visit so I would like to try the doggles, I like the kiddie pool idea, room for ZoE then. the sides on the other mat are kind of on the low side, I want to make it a little harder for her to get out, as it stands now she keeps jumping in, I have finally taken the toys away when on the raft, since she tosses them off just so she could go in after it. Kazzy will tell you she never sits still and sometimes us adults just want to chill, I could always put her in the house but she loves being out there. Also I would prefer not to have lake water coming through the bottom, I will keep water in the float but not a lot of cold lake water. I am sure what I am looking for is not in high demand
