| Why is my puppy's reaction to people differ? I wonder if there's a logical explanation for this? I'm starting to socialize bunjee with various friends and family, old and young, male and female. I find that for the most part, he's rather timid and shy to start, then friendly and curious as he becomes more familiar with the individual. but for a few people, he'll be aggressive, hissing and growling at the person without provocation. and he definitely does not want to be held by that individual and will squirm or bite to break free. is there any rhyme or reason to this? i have everyone approach him the same way... slow and gentle. but there doesn't seem to be a common demoninator to those he'll be less friendly with. |

| I don't know. Could it be you really don't like some of the people yourself. We had a dog once who sat on my feet and growled the whole time a lady from our church was there bringing cookies. She and I didn't much like each other, but we were trying. She told me once that the only problem she had was that she was always right and not everyone could see that. She was NOT kidding. |
