I had to get a urine sample on Katie, and the first couple of times I used a plastic pint sized container or a baby food jar. I though I just missed, and each time Katie outsmarted me. After that, I just stuck a paper place under her and transferred it to a container afterwards. My vet said that it didn't need to be totally sterile.I would definitely try earlier than you need it; it can be refrigerated if you get it before you can take the sample to the vet.

Okay I will start using the wet cloth. The only problem I had with they is is she okay to be wet? Like are dogs like humans where if their hair is wet they can get sick?

Haha getting her sample was basically impossible. I put her in her play pen with no puppy pads and sucked the urine up with a syringe. I had to do this 3x.

You all were right though...Miley has a UTI. The doctor said it was very mild but still there and prescribed her medication for it.

Haha it was the worst. I hated leaving her in the pen that long to cry!
