| So funny I've been teaching Joel to stay off people which is really hard for him lol, so what I've been doing is when new people come I keep giving him treats when he's being good and staying off. Now what the little smarty pants does is go up to the person and sits for a few seconds and then he runs up to me to tell me he stayed off so he can get a treat, but hey at least he's staying off! Can't believe how smart these guys can be |

| Yours do fake potties too? When I take my boy out to pee he sometimes stands and looks up sadly at me, then I tell him to pee again and he does the fake. To please me I guess? Sweet in a way. No treats even. |

| LOL, my Minnie used to do that. I had one of her boxes of snacks on the dining room table near the back door, and I got in a bad habit of giving her a small snack when she'd come in from using the bathroom. After the first couple of times she'd go and sit (really cute) as soon as I let her in from using the bathroom. Very soon she'd have to go out to the bathroom 2-3 times an hour, so I spied on her out the back window and noticed she'd just walk around for a minute or two and then bark to come in. Even though I only did it maybe 5 days it took weeks to get her to stop sitting as soon as I let her in from using the bathroom.

| And that's such a hilarious story about Joel. Yorkies are always so mischievous; it's one of the things I love so much about them.

| The little monkeys don't take long to learn how to get treats! Love all the cute things your dogs do to get them. They really are smarter than we think. |

| I'm lucky that Joel doesn't try the fake potty thing, he mostly just forces himself to go for a treat |

| Joel Don't be sure he doesn't fake, they look very convincing. LOL! I have to check for wetness or would not know! My boy does the longest fake first thing in the morning. (I feel he needs to go after the long night and take him out first thing) He prefers to eat first, so fakes it so I will feed him. After food he will go out again and do the real thing. They sure are smarter than a first grader, lol! |

| just proof that he is brilliant. Smart enough to learn the command and smarter enough to know he can get rewarded for it.
