| How does your Yorkie act after shots? How does your Yorkie act after they get booster shots and rabies shot? Buttons acts pitiful and is not herself...no appetite and is sore. I cant believe the doctor gave the shots in her leg! Has anyone had experience with this?

| Cooper was really sore after he had his Rabies shot and not himself. About three hours after he received the vaccination, I couldn't pick him up because he cried out in pain -- even though he wanted to be held. I called the vet and they said it was normal and that in 24 hours, he would be himself again. The following morning you wouldn't have known that he had received a shot the prior day, because he was back to his rambunctious self. Good luck!

| thanks, yeah it was the day after that Buttons started feeling bad and still does this morning. I hope when I get home she will be back to herself. It drives me nuts when she acts sick.

| If she's 'off' for more than one day, maybe consider getting one vaccine at a time, separated by about 3-4 weeks. Easier on their system that way.

| Pixie is fine...but I only allow one vaccination at a time I make separate appointments. Daisy does severe allergic reactions...fever, throwing up, achy, lethargic at times. We have to have the vet give her a shot of benadryl bf vaccinations. If Buttons is acting that way I would call the vet bc they can give her something.

| I may stop by there today and see if they will give me something for her. I will know next time not to do them all at one time. It looks like the doctor would have suggested it...thinking of changing docs

| With yorkies because there small they should only get one shot at a time. Callie gets really tired, grumpy and sore. I went to pick her up from the chair a few hours after one of her shots and she screamed out and its so unlike her to scream out so I knew she was sore.

| Morgan acts a little bit sleepy but we always wait at the vets office or in town for a hour after he gets his shots since we live 2 hours away |

| Sophie got her rabies about a month ago and I took her on Saturday for the rest. Because she has been sleepy and not herself in the past they pretreated her with a steroid. She did great, normal as can be, so far.

| I would definitely have the vet check on her if she's behaving "off" enough for you to be concerned. As mentioned above, in the future, space out shots. Their little bodies are so small...a lot of times, combining shots at one time is too hard on their system. Praying she'll be right as rain soon!

| We have also only gotten Princess Sophie, one shot at a time spaced out by a couple weeks. She really cried out when she got the rabies shot and was very tender for the rest of the day. When she got her other shots, she was very sleepy for the rest of the day. Vet said this was all normal and to just keep an eye on her to make sure she didn't get dehydrated and she did just fine!!

| My pups don't act any differently. I think just one time, Toki was sore/tender from a shot they gave her in a rear leg but she was fine a couple days later. |
