Cooper was really sore after he had his Rabies shot and not himself. About three hours after he received the vaccination, I couldn't pick him up because he cried out in pain -- even though he wanted to be held. I called the vet and they said it was normal and that in 24 hours, he would be himself again. The following morning you wouldn't have known that he had received a shot the prior day, because he was back to his rambunctious self. Good luck!
