| Biting... I just wanted to send out a thank you to all who have posted about the biting and nipping. My little Martini was a Mothers Day gift to me and I really didn't know what to do with him, but after reading many posts and suggestions, I think we are getting through it. He still has his moments, but my frustration level is a lot lower now. After many firm nos and ignoring he is starting to understand. For all of you that are just starting out, the thing that finally clicked for me, was, he is a puppy and I need to be patient, but firm! Now if we can just get potty training going, he doesn't like pads or the grass patch, but loves outside and will go outside, but seems to think inside is just a free for all. Anyway, thanks again, I was at my wits end! |
