| 7 month update and product recall question 7 months has finally arrived! I'm couldn't be more thrilled with how my furrybaby has turned out. Fur is great, teeth are still falling out and growing in some. We're weighing right around 4 pounds 2-3 oz, not skinny not too fat but just right. Furrybaby is measuring about 9 inches between the shoulder blades and is fine boned. My baby is in very good health. Presently we're eating the Royal Canin kibble and what i'm noticing is that furrybaby doesn't always eat the 2/3 cup a day. I think only once or twice this week finished the entire meal. The bag says that at 8 months we'll be lowering the amount to 1/2 cup. I'm think furrybaby is done growing. Those of you with furbabies, are you seeing this as the trend when they're done growing? I just noticed that Royal Canin had a huge voluntary recall last month! I'm using Royal Canin Rapid Growth 29, which is not on the list for recalled food yet it does include chicken and rice. Anyone else heard anything about this recall? How are your 7 month old's doing? |

| Teddy is 9 months old and he is currently eating the RC Yorkshire Terrier 28 (we have several sample bags to get through). I actually hadn't heard about this recall but will continue to feed Teddy this since ours wasn't affected. He's doing really well on it and putting on weight When my Toki was a pup, she stopped eating so much as she got older. I used to feed her around 1/4 cup 3x a day...she eventually stopped eating lunch so I cut back the amount of food I gave her and only fed her 2x a day. They don't need as much food as they get done growing and filling out. I'm glad that your pup is strong and healthy! She's adorable! |
