| finally going down stairs!! my baby boy is 14months old..I was wondering if this has happened to anyone elses yorkie..Ive always had to carry him down the stairs..He would go to the edge and wait for me to pick him up and carry down..Well the other day I couldn't find my baby because he had escaped through the kitchen door and went down the stairs by himself..I laughed so hard as he was waiting on the first floor for me..Now he zips down the stairs..it only took him 14months to do it!!

| Callie learned up after awhile but it took a long time to learn going down so she would go up the stairs and because she wouldn't bark like ever she would just sit there and after awhile she would cry for someone to come get her. Please be careful with stairs though we have had many people have pets fall down the stairs on this board and it was not good most of the time. When we had carpeted stairs I would let Callie go up and down but we moved and we now have wood stairs and both Callie and my moms yorkie have fallen on them so I had to set up a walk through gate on the stairs.

| That is AWESOME! Our little dogs are so small a stair is quite often taller than the dog itself! We are in the same boat and we are actually training our littlest one to go up and down. Nothing cuter than seeing a Yorkie conquer a set of stairs that are taller than her/him. |
