| Yes... I'm not talking massive amounts or anything.... Just a little sprinkle once a month in summer. It helps a lot. Or solid gold garlic bagel dog treats. One once a month. I've done it for years with no ill effects.

| I can't stand the horrid yucky things! It seems that the battlefield park should be issuing a warning to people waking through that they have an epidemic of tics! A couple of years ago my cats kept coming home with ticks on them. I had to start combing them with a flea comb before I would let them come inside. Those nasty loose ticks have sticky little feet and it is very hard to just shake one off. They defy gravity! You can't just crush them like a flea either. They have shells as hard as steel! I only walk Gracie in areas where there are no ticks but I have to keep the cats combed out so they don't bring any inside. They really should warn people when a public area like the Gettysburg Battlefield Park has an infestation. |

| Oh my goodness. I can't even imagine. I found just one on myself and my dog for the first time ever a few weeks ago I still have felt like something is crawling on me almost every day since then. I didn't even feel it at the time, but the idea of it has really freaked me out and I don't even want to go in my backyard anymore. I check myself and the dog every day now.
