| constipated yorkie poo Hello! I have a 8 week old yorkie poo named Gilbert. usually he has a bowel movement in the morning. yesterday evening I notice he was trying to poo but couldn't. I even took him outside. again this morning Gilbert has been trying with no luck. what can I do? |

| Give him a lil canned pumpkin the pure pumpkin NOT the PIE MIX....the pure canned pumpkin about a 1/4 tsp should help him.

| Either or. I urge to try giving directly though. That way you know he ate it and how much.

| Hope the pumpkin works.... If not, when Harry was little, I would massage the 'botty-hole' area with a cotton bud, that would always stimulate him to poop....I really couldn't face doing what his 'real' mother used to do..... Good luck! Sally + Harry x |

| Gilbert will only nibble at the pumpkin. I'm even trying to feed him myself. I might have to try the cotton swab thing. any ideas on how to get him to eat the pumpkin |
