| Car safety I wanted to post a thread sense its becoming travel season. Please remember to use a tether, car seat or travel crate when traveling with your pets. If you have an accident or have to slam on your brakes and or swerve to miss having an accident your dog could go flying and really get hurt or killed. Also having your baby on your lap as much as you and they like it is a distraction and just not safe. Please keep your babies safe in the car. Callie has a snoozer car seat that if the car door gets open when shes on her leash for any reason she jumps in the car and into her snoozer. My mom also has one for her rescue Sammy and he to has learned to love it. We also got one for times they go to places together that is the biggest one. Also keep in mind if you can not turn your air bag off the back seat is the safest place. Trust me it feel so good to have them safe in the car because its one less thing you have to worry about when driving.

| Great reminder for everyone! We just went on vacation with 3. Each one was on a dog bed in the backseat with a teather between their 'no choke' harness and the seatbelt of the truck. I always knew where they were and you could tell that they all felt safer knowing where their personal space was. No fighting over who got what bed. When Mina is in my car she rides in a snoozer carseat with a tether, there just wasnt enough room for the carseat, two other dogs and the teen daughter on this trip. |

| I only use a travel crate strapped with back seat belt. Only way KENO ever travels. I also have a leash on him. In case of accident rescue workers can get hold of leash not look for one. |

| Air bag question Great post. Leroy is harnessed and tethered to his car seat in the front seat. I thought the safe distance was beyond 16 inches . . . which he is. Is this correct? or should I make other arrangements???? |

| My puppy rides in a Snoozer console carseat and loves it most of the time. We've used it since he came home to us.
