I hope there is a vet around to check on some of those pets found under rubble and debris. That little guy had obviously been "out" a while or he'd have been whining and struggling to get out sooner.

Wow! He was really stuck! Thank God they chose that spot to do the interview. He probably heard his Momma's voice and came to. Praying for all in this disaster....

That's what I think. By the time that reporting team got to the scene and started talking to the lady, it had to be over an hour or more and I'll bet that little guy was lying there unconscious until Mommie's voice and strong scent began to get through. Than Bowser decided to shake it off and make a break for it! What if that lady had left and gone away? I sure pray she gets to keep him wherever she is put up for the next year or so until her future living situation is sorted out. I hope they have medicine for both of them at the shelter - you know she probably need BP and heart meds and he needs a neuro and observation. Poor things - but they were still among the blessed. That was so sweet when she was saying "Oh, Bowzie!". You could tell she could bend over or lift him - probably too weak or sick to lift anything very heavy.

That was my first thought.....'how long was he under there'? So happy she and the dog have each other still. They will get through this together. I was crying like a baby. Happy tears for baby and her/his mom.

Oh my goodness... I'm at school with tears rolling down my face. I am so happy she was there to find her dog. I am sure that the only reason they found him was because he woke up and heard her voice. I cannot imagine what would have happened to him had they not been there

Makes you wonder how many animals are alive under the rubble. The time of day of the tornado, many people weren't home....but the pets were. Makes me feel ill just thinking of it.

I was just watching that on a different network. Amazing that anyone or anything could survive the house falling in around them. That is a miracle for sure.
I saw another woman interviewed last night who said when she got back to her home it was destroyed and her little dog and the wire crate it was in were gone. She was going back today to look some more. I hope the poor dog is alright.

That was amazing I was sobbing watching it..I think that is all I would care about was that my family and girls were ok...I am so happy for that lady
