| When did your puppy lose their teeth? Lily is 4+ months, and she has barely any teeth grown in.... and she certainly doesnt have any adult teeth in site. When did you babies lose their teeth?

| I heard that yorkies usually get their adult teeth around 6 months. My Mason definitely had his set of adult teeth by 6 months. Luckily, all his baby teeth fell out (or rather, he swallowed!) so I didn't have to take him in to get the teeth pulled out. But I heard other people mention that some of the baby teeth didn't fall out and the vet had to pull them. The adult teeth come out pretty fast! One day Mason had his set of baby teeth and by the end of the week he had adult teeth! If you start to see blood, don't get frightened. During the week when his adult teeth were coming in, I noticed that his rawhides were pink/red from from bleeding in his teeth. It went away in a few days. |

| our lil girl lost her baby teeth and grew in her adult teeth just fine..prolly round 6-7 mon. id say....but our lil boy lost all his baby teeth except his baby canines which were sittin right against his adult canines when they came in..so we had to get his baby canines pulled out when he was about 9 mon. old...he was such a happier puppy once it was done...and we got to keep his baby teeth! |

| Wood furntiure To keep your puppy from biting wood furniture, go to the local 99 cent store and pick up a couple of cheap antiperspirants. Get the clear stick kind. Rub on the furnture where he chews or bites, he will not chew on it anymore. I learned this trick on Animal Planet You good dog you and have only heard of it not working for one owner. Bitter apple is another thing you can use, but the sticks are better (they have some at the pet store called stay aay sticks) for $10.00 and it is the same ingredients as stick anitpers. |

| Trevor is half way there with baby teeth. He'll be 5 months on the 22nd and he's lost all his top baby teeth and 2 bottom ones. The top permanent ones are almost completely in. But the bottoms haven't even started breaking the gum line. He still has 2 bottom that are loose. I keep hoping that his canines will start getting loose, but I think they may be the last ones to fall out. I was hoping to get him neutered at 6 months, but may wait a little longer to see if the canines will come out. Cyndie Trevor's Mom |

| Sharp Toofies Yikes, I have the proof that baby toofies are sharp! I have five "love" bites on my right arm. Chelsea, I am sure she is playing, but WHEN will the BITES stop? Does it get less when the perm teeth come in? She is 14 weeks old. How do you stop them from biting????? Thanks in advance for any answers or suggestions.
