YT 500 Club Member | I hope I don't sound stupid... I hope I don't sound stupid but, how do you trim around your baby's eyes? I'm terrified that I will hurt her? Is there a trick I don't know about?

♥Love My 3 Furrbutts♥ Donating Member | If you must use rounded scissors, hold her muzzle so she does not move. Carefully follow the contour of her face....or have a groomer do it for you.

| I also suggest a groomer for the eyes.

| And please, never, never think that your question is stupid as it is the only way to learn and I am sure that the lovely friendly people here do not judge one for asking anything about the right way to care and love a Yorkie. I was taught when young that " the only dumb stupid question is the one you are too afraid to ask " so I totally believe in asking away and if somebody has an issue with your question, it is their issue not yours. Good luck with the information you receive and I personally agree with having the groomer do the job.

YT 500 Club Member | I agree about having the groomer do it then. I'm so afraid ill hurt her. It seems like the hair by her eyes is the fastest growing hair on her little body.

| I let the hair around their eyes grow... If you cut it, it can grow and poke their eyes. I find it easier to keep it long.

| I'm really glad you asked this question, because earlier i was wondering if I should keep the hair around Sasha's eyes short, or let it grow. I know I want her hair long enough to be tied up but does that include the eye hairs? (Your question isn't stupid btw!)
