I get blood work done yearly on all of my pups starting with the first week I have them. Even with those, some things do not show up....liver shunt is one of them. When you have time, take a look at this thread about my Teddy Bear. I don't want to tell the whole story here and distract this thread, but it is a good read about liver shunts.....be sure to note post #6

Wow, that's quite a story! When I get home, I'm going to watch Bella like a hawk. At least I pay close attention to her bowel and bladder habits. My vet is good, and I'll definitely ask him about screening for liver shunt.

Nope, no change, but she's still a sweetie! How old is Minnie now? Is she beginning to show any signs of color change at the roots of her black hair?

I am not seeing minpin at all. I do see yorkie...maybe just not well bred yorkie? Or maybe Chihuahua Yorkie mix. I don't know....but she is very cute!!
Maybe her hair issue is from the demodex?

Minnie's almost 5. Months now. From when we got her to now I c s lil difference with her coloring on her head but thst bout it. But only 9 more days :) lol

She is just stinking adorable, whatever she is. Hopefully all this brouha will be over soon and you can just enjoy your little doll.

She is truley the cutest thing ever. With her being so tiny I think it adds to it as well hehe. Also my husband son and I are all small so she fits right in perfectly. Perfect completion to our family <3

Minnie is adorable, and I wish you all the best in having a long, happy, healthy life with her.

She doesn't have to be 100% Yorkie to give you a lifetime of joy and love, and I am so happy that you recognize that.

I don't see the minpin anymore either, but still not 100% yorkie.
And just like MauiGirl said, she doesn't have to be 100% in order to give you a lifetime of joy :)

:thumbup::thumbup: My Cookie is a mix. I did a dna test on her years ago just out of curiosity. She is a yorkie and border terrier mix. She is an awesome pup!! :) She is the one that I am presently using in my avatar. (with the sunglasses on...she thinks she is hot stuff and she is! :) )
