| We've tried a lot of different harnesses. We use different ones for different reasons. I still haven't really found the 'perfect' harness that works for EVERY situation. ![]() Puppia mesh harnesses are our go-to. Every time I try to find something better, or different, we still tend to use them the most. They're super easy to put on, their comfortable for him, and they're cute and come in many different colors. My only complaint is it sometimes seems like it may be too hot for summer (but honestly, he's worn them every summer, and it's never seemed to have been an issue) and they're not good for the beach (sand tends to get stuck to them). They're easy to wash though. And the neck is not adjustable on the regular ones, but the medium fits Jackson very well. They have adjustable neck versions now too though. ![]() EzyDog Quick Fit. Super quick to put on which I love. It seems comfortable for him. I like the neoprene material on it -- good for water activities. It sits up a bit too high on the chest for my liking and I don't like the placement of the buckle (I always have to be careful not to pinch him). BUT overall really like this one. ![]() ChokeFree Leather Harness. I don't use this one very much anymore, but I do really like it. It looks classy, it fits him good, and it's somewhat easy to adjust. It is velcro, but it's impossible to to get out of, because of the way the d-ring has to go through the hole when the leash is on. It's fairly thin leather, which I like and prefer, and the inside is pretty soft so seems comfy for him. Considering getting another in a different color now actually! We have a few generic harnesses too, the Premier Sure Fit nylon harness in black, a nylon step-in from Petsmart, and we used the Easy Walk harness when he was a pup training to walk on leash so still have one of those.

| I love the little dress and vest harnesses! I am going to order some for Gracie for spring and summer! She has had a variety of harnesses the past two years. We started out with the Puppia vest harness when she was a pup. Once I got the right size it was pretty secure and I had good control over her which I needed when she would pull. When she was trained to walk more politely I got her one of the step in harnesses that Chattiesmom here on YT makes. We use that a lot for when we go out for walks. The Choke Free is for when we go in the car or pretty much any where away from home. It is very secure and I use it for when I hook her into her car seat. They are escape free so I feel much safer having her in that when we travel. Last edited by gracielove; 05-11-2013 at 01:39 PM. |

| If anyone has a Chattiesmom silk step in harness please post pics...I've been wanting the Walk Nice for a while now. I have two buddy belts (too rough on the armpit area for my liking) and a ton of generic nylon step ins from petco/smart.

| I don't have one but I do have one of her leashes. Maybe someone will be able to show you a picture of the harness. Have you contacted her to see if she has any pictures?

| I like just the standard step in harnesses. The choke frees (IMO) I feel aren't quite as safe, I just don't like the velcro. The buddy belts look great and I would love to have one but a bit pricey for just one and I would want several in different colors. So I just have several step in harnesses in different colors and prints so I can change them up a bit. They fit great, look cute and keep them safe.

| Yeah, there is a lock over the velcro so you adjust the Choke Free and then lock it in place. Very secure. I don't have a picture of the chattiesmom silk harness but if you go to her listing she has nice photos of the harness and her materials. It is very soft and has nice narrow adjustable straps. It is so much more comfortable for Gracie in the warm weather. They are both great harnesses. I just prefer the Choke Free in the car. |

| I had to look around to find it but here is a link to chattiesmom's thread. Click on her "silk selections" link and it will take you to her listing of fabrics and other options. 2013 Silk Harness Thread - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community[COLOR=%22goldenrod%22 |
