| Lancaster PA - isn't that where the Amish have puppy mills?

| yes it is. Lancaster is notorious for puppy mills, close one down two will take their place. Last I read Pa. was the 2nd state that has the most puppy mills.

| That is disgusting there needs to be laws introduced to stop and irradiate this type of business , dogs are not a commodity they are living breathing beings. I cannot comprehend how anyone could sleep at night if they treat animals in such a callous way.

| There has been much media on the Lancaster Pa. puppy mills, I watched a 30 min. broadcast that had under cover workers film the breeding and living conditions of these innocent animals, it sickened me, wish I had never seen it. Anyone mentions the word Amish that broadcast replays in my mind and I am sickened all over again. The adults and babies in dirty filthy cages at fairs in burning sun, no protection, no water. The Amish were selling off puppies and adults. Buyers never saw how they were being housed behind the booths, cruel is an under statement, money is all that mattered. Many are forced to shut down due to the dogs living conditions, adults and puppies taken away, yet more and more pop up. To say DO NOT BUY FROM PUPPY MILLS, once you see these babies you want to buy them all, save them from this disgusting life, it's hard to close your eyes and walk away. I stay away from fairs for this reason.
