| Yorkie drive-by Hey guys, Gizmo is so crazy! He is on an endless mission to find paper and destroy it, or whatever he knows he's not supposed to have. I'll be sitting on the couch and see this flash go by me, and run the other way with the stolen object. Obviously he's been thinking about his strategy long and hard, and I'm completely clueless. Does your little one do this?? |

| yes as soon as pixie gets something she is not supposed to she runs right past me and hides that is how I know she has something she shouldn't I quickly grab a cheerio and drop it so that she will drop what she has and I can get it. Cheerio's work like a charm and I am glad they do bc once pixie had found a small piece of glass and I got her to drop it with a cheerioe. I keep a little dish in the living room and bedroom for emergencies.

| Oh, gosh! The memories this post brings back! Gracie was a first class thief when she was going through her puppy days! She was always looking for something to chew apart. I didn't know what to do with her. When she got big enough to jump on the furniture she would get things off the end tables and chew everything to bits! She would get into closets, waste baskets, everything! The whole place had to be puppy proofed! She obviously needed something to chew but the things I had gotten for her she was not interested in. She loved paper, plastic and wood! I wouldn't give her rawhide but the chew toys I bought for her she left untouched. I finally read about bully sticks here on YT. I now buy her only 12" bully sticks from best bully . com and she is a happy camper. As soon as she started chomping on those things the thefts stopped. She was in doggy heaven. She doesn't chew as much now as she did when she was a puppy but she does still have a stick available when she needs to chew out some frustrations. She really does get the stick out when something is bothering her. When we have company she wants very much to jump on people. Well, she is not allowed to jump on people so she gets her stick out and chews it instead. I guess it helps work off the nervous energy that it takes to restrain herself. |
