Good for you! I once saved a baby sparrow from my dogs. The mom either pushed it out of the nest or it fell. I kept it save for awhile and then one day we let him/her loose and it took off.

I will say once the turtle was on the "other side" of the fense he moved FAST....right into the water.

If he moved into the water, there is your clue as to his type!

Good job saving that turtle.

We had one in our backyard once too. Piccolo thought she was the queen of hunters barking at the poor little guy. (I guess that is about her speed of hunting.

) That turtle had to be rescued, too.

I love turtles. You must have quite a bit of reptile visitors there in Florida!

A town nearby has two ponds almost in the center of town. A main street runs down between them. It seems there are often turtles that can't decide which pond they want to reside in so turtle rescues are an common event there.

It seems your dogs are ready to defend their property from any intruders!
