| Where are you located. I have recently learned of a breeder in our area who has rescue's and such. I haven't been yet, but have heard great things about her and can't wait to meet her.

| searching Some ideas for places to look would be, the internet~there are lots of yorkie websites, reputable breeders nearby,or even a good place to find information about them would be a local newspaper. Good luck with your search! |

| Here are some sites to get you started if you are interested in rescue but I must tell you your $$$ offer is generous but a reputable rescue is more interested in placing the little ones in the best home possible for each individual dog and not how much you might donate. There is a adoption donation for a rescue Yorkie and this is so each rescue can continue to do their work. I encourage you and all members to remember these little ones and make a yearly donation to their Yorkie Rescue of choice to help these wonderful organizations to continue to do the difficult work they do. Now having said all of this, I can tell you that many Yorkies come up on Petfinder in LA and I know there is a Yorkie rescue in Beverly Hills that posts on Petfinder also. You just have to be patient if this is the direction you would like to go in. Take your time as you go through all of the websites and you also might want to do a google search on Yorkie Rescue as there might be one in your town but these are national sites that will get you going and many of them link into www.petfinder.com. http://www.unitedyorkierescue.org/ http://www.yorkierescue.com/ http://www.petfinder.org http://www.yorkshireterrierrescue.net/ http://www.barkbytes.com/rescue/yorkie.htm Good Luck in your search and maybe other members will know a good breeder in your area.
