Zoey and my Beau share the same birthdate! We should share pics as they grow! Beau has already had several baths, then I wrap him in a warm towel right out of the dryer, then I blow dry him on low heat while I (try) to brush him.

Emma was born Nov 29. How funny. She too has had several baths. Two from us and one from the groomer. I use the same method as YorkieLover9.

Emma's Dad That's awesome our babies are so close together in age, it will be great to see them grow up on this site. You said you have taken your baby to the groomers already? I thought they had to have all their puppy shots and rabies shot before doing that. I live in So. California and I know that's what they require here is proof of those shots.

She had two set of her shots and we took her in for bordetella. They said it was ok that she didn't have her last shot, and she also needed the rabies shot. She has since gotten all those, and a microchip implanted (it was the worst thing I've ever witnessed in my life!) But as for the groomer, she was 14 weeks I think and all went well.

All These Sagittarius Babies This is great. I love this website. We all seem to share the same worries, it's like our "children" are growing up together and we are learning. Emma's Dad: I found a groomer, recommended by my Vet, the place is called Puppy Love, I talked to them yesterday. The woman seemed very familiar with yorkies, which made me feel good. I'm taking Beau in for his first grooming a week from this Saturday, I can't wait.

kys24 The name of the place is called Puppy Love, their number is 562-377-0100, they are near Von's on Woodruff and Carson, which I think is considered Long Beach. The woman that I talked to (she answered the phone said they bathe, blow dry, clip their nails, trim the hair between their paw pads, the hair on their butt, anal glands if needed, pluck the hair from the inside of their ears for 25.00). They are only there for 3 hours (which I like, don't want to leave him all day) and she said they don't have to have their rabies shot yet but she does require that they've had all their puppy shots, which Beau will have his 4th set by that time. I'll post and let everyone know how it goes when I take him. If you go before me, let me know as well.

kys24 I just noticed in your dogster pic, my Beau has the same toys, the slipper and the purple mouse. Except Beau doesn't even acknowledge his.

| thansk for all the info. wow i believe that's pretty cheap considering they do all that. ill check it out. and about the shots... hershey's on his second shot right now but my vet told me that in his third shot he will get al the shots needed; the third shot plus rabies and something else. is this bad to get it all at the same time? i didn't know there was such thing as fourth shots. and yea those toys are so cute. he ONLY plays wiht it when i start moving it around his face.. and he chases it and he starts biting on it. so cute.. :]
