Im very happy to went back to get him!! I have a yorkie poo and he howled all the time for the first 4 months of his life. lol. You just have to stay on him and tell him a firm NO when he does it. Be consistent, he will get it. As far as shampoo's go I either use tropiclean or minksheen. Both smell wonderful and leave my dogs coats shiny and beautiful. Yes, they will get use to each other sleeping the same kennel. I have a 5 pound toy poodle before I got my Tucker (yorkiepoo) and it did take alittle bit but now they cant sleep apart. Yes, they will learn to get along. There will always be a "alpaha" dog but they will get use to each other. I have 5 dogs and everyone of them took time to work it out with the others, they all love and live in harmony. ![]()

![]() My experiences have led me to believe that it is NEVER okay to play with tiny/very young puppies or kittens with your hands, allowing them to claw, bite, or chew on your hands UNTIL after bite (and claw, especially with kittens) inhibition is firmly established. If you do, they may never quite understand the WHY of why they are not allowed to bite, which they will consider play...and YOU will be in pain and often, and possibly to the point where it can be difficult to hold, pet, and groom them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() I'm surely no expert (or anywhere close to it) as to what a Yorkie should look like, but If you would like to know AKC's "breed standard" for a Yorkie, go to Yorkshire Terrier Page. It's very informative |

| ![]() Great advice, they have lots of toys which the bite on and play "tug of war" with that way they can excessive and not bite or scratch the furniture. Jax is learning quite fast, he is very smart he even runs up and down the stairs so fast where's as Toby couldn't dobthat until recently. Jax is very agile and brave, I love that every morning I wake him up he cries to be picked up and so happy and excited haha. I noticed that from his head to the tail his soft little curly hair has gray coming out taking over the black. I am curious to find out what his final coat will be like. His feet have somewhat of wiry hair. Anyway I will upload some pictures perhaps tonight so you all can get to see little Jax ![]() |

| ![]() He is soooo cute. In the first photo he looks like a morkie but in the second he looks like a yorkie poo. Whatever he's a doll. We have s shorkie and a yorkie. I just didn't understand if you say his parents were both yorkies. There might have been a mixture in his family tree somewhere. |

| ![]() Just now reading this thread.....I was so sad when I saw that you were taking him back...and SO relieved to see that you decided to keep him. Jax is adorable!!!! He actually may not be a mix....not all yorkies look the same! And even if he is..so what..he is precious. My first yorkie was a mix and she was the most awesome pup in the world! ![]() I wish you that much time or more with Jax and so many many happy moments with him. I am thinking Toby and Jax are going to have a blast growing up together! ![]()

| ![]() It's required at 4 months in Michigan....I thought it was the same in most states. There have been legal proposals to try to lower it to 3 months, which have been greatly opposed. http://healthypets.mercola.com/sites...ccination.aspx
