I never even put a dress on any of my other small dogs and I have had Maltese, Shih Tzus and other long haired small dogs for years. All of them had good thick coats and they never got cold. Gracie is a whole other type of dog. She always wanted to be kept warm even as a puppy so I started buying her sweaters, coats and shirts. then I saw some nice sweater dresses. A friend sent me some pretty sun dresses and some more formal wear. I mostly only put clothing on her when she is cold (which is quite often around here) but she does wear her dresses when we go somewhere or for special occasions. |

"silly dog clothes" I am new and as have posted a couple of days ago, my little guy Ace was born just over a week ago or so. He won't be "coming home" until the long weekend the 1st of July...It will be hot here then and he'll still have puppy coat, so no need for clothes to keep him warm, but once the fall comes ... look out world!!! I plan on at least one hockey sweater and a baseball tee. Once he gets a little older, he will wear jammies to bed (with me and the Frenchies)... oh ya, just 'cause he's a boy doesn't mean he goes naked!! :shocked7q |
