If everyone experienced 'yorkosis' the world would be a better place. This is my first post, glad to have found some yorky crazy people out there and boy are there alot of you. I am not as extreme, i kinda brought my floofer up to be a little more rugged. Probably due to having bigger dogs before and not knowing any better. By rugged i mean we would walk in snow fields, he loved it and would play fetch insistently. He of course has yorkified me, he has a toy box and an array of clothing garments but alas he is not game to strut with them in public. Regards, Archi and myself James in Cape Town |
Oh my gosh! It has got to be a Yorkie thing then! I am TOTALLY that person!! I used to say, "Oh, that poor dog." "Let that dog be a dog." One of my really good friends got a Chi and would dress her in all sorts of stuff and I would always end our phone calls by saying, "Tell Chi Chi I'm sorry and I'll come save her one day." :D Even when I was going to buy Mandie, I told hubby that I will only do a hair bow for her topknot. *sigh* *eye roll* Yup....I'm a Crazy Yorkie Lady. I have become one of "those people."........ |

I think all the "crazy dog people" here at YT are to blame! ;) I never thought of half the things to buy my girls till I joined this group. Are they a bad or good influence? I say nothing is bad when it comes to spoiling our little Yorkie kids. Even though I don't put dresses on my girls unless it's for a Christmas picture, I do not see anything wrong with it. Mine have sweaters, jackets and shoes. I'm on my second stroller which I've had for about 5 years or so. I don't care what anyone thinks when they see me pushing them in the stroller in the mall or shopping in a very busy town, because I know they are safe from being stepped on, or too hot from being so close to a very hot sidewalk and I can put the mesh top up to keep the hot sun off them. People should turn their negative opinions toward BYB, people who dump their dogs in shelters, or breed them to death and so on. At least our babies are well taken care of an spoiled. :D |
I am one of those people that said "I WILL NEVER WANT A LITTLE DOG". But when I saw the first little dog puppy in person I absolutely fell in love. I went from being one of those people that absolutely thought I hated little dogs to one of those people that dress up their dog and takes them everywhere with them. I can't even remember why I had disliked little dogs so much back then LOL But the transition was so immediate lol. I didn't even notice that I had become "one of them". |
Took my babies to the pet expo in orange county. Was supposed to help adopt dogs but still managed to find bows, harnessess(with matching leashes of course), 3 dresses, 4 shirts, 2 hoodies and cowboy hats. The stroller and canine caviar were ordered. |
Yes. It just sneaks up on you. One day you are sensible then ..., I heard someone say, yep that's her, the crazy Yorkie Lady. I was pushing a stroller full of Yorkies, I had on a Got Yorkies ? T-shirt. My car has Yorkie stickers and OMgosh my Yorkies were all wearing coordinated dresses and shirts. and hair bows. OMgosh it was true ! |
