| All four of mine pass stinky gas. Sometimes it sends us searching for the poop! Our biggest problem is that all of them fart quietly so we don't know which one to blame. |

| Coincidence??? I think not. I'm sure they have all come to an agreement so no one gets the blame. lol

| DH was sitting on the couch next to me last night. Sam was in my lap and released one of those toxic clouds. DH got up and moved to the recliner, lol.

| none of mine ever passed gas on a regular basis when they did it was normally food related. My friends large dog had this problem and it was awful, she used to feed her dog food that had the consistency of wet sand, forgot the name. The dog also had very loose stool, I kept telling her she should change food, she finally switched to Blue Buff. and the problem went away. Not saying that BB is the right food for your dog, but the one you are feeding may be causing the gas, or one of the ingredients might be, but there is a good chance it is food related. Good luck finding the cause.

| Sophie Kate is a gassy little girl and boy does the smell almost knock me out. The funny thing she never makes a noise or bats an eye, the smell just comes out of no where (any time, any place - imagine riding from Georgia to Florida with Ms Gas Bag). We do have probiotics we get from the Vet to help her with her gas. The problem is she is on an RX food which causes gas but keeps her healthy. Usually it is a good sign she needs to go for a walk to work out the gas...outside...in fresh air...away from our house.

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Lol .But really though, I'd change her food bc bad gas is a sign that something is really not agreeing with her GI system, and that's never comfortable .Although, I *would* love to hear you go to your doc say "I have pink eye..it's from my dog's farting".

| Our rescued beagle was evidently a product of inbreeding. He was allergic to anything that was protein related or green growing outside. True story! Anyway he was least allergic to lamb and rice but it gave him tremendous gas problems. Here's the funny part. He would let one rip then turn around and look at the nearest person as if to accuse them of doing it. Then he would leave. LOL |

| YT 2000 Club Member | I think certain foods make them fart. My Spud can rip some off and I have to exit the couch! He eats the Blue Buffalo food and something in there creates a stink. Not often, just once in awhile but that is enough. I usually yell at my husband who says he didn't do that. Spud is out the dog door by then! |

| Cute stories, but I'm confused why so many pups are so gassy so often... it doesn't really seem 'normal' to me. Jackson's only farted like maybe 5 times in his whole life and it's usually due to a food not agreeing with him. I would think a change in diet should be looked at. It was quite funny tho, when he looked back at his butt like 'WTF was that?!?' But yeah seriously I always know either his belly is hurting or something did not agree with him any time he's had gas. Edit - Just saw a lot of these pups are on Blue Buffalo. That seems to be a fairly common complaint about GI probs on this food. Funny enough, it was when Jax had a sample of BB that he got gas and I was shocked because he never does- even with cold turky switches of other foods.
