Need Some Advice, Please

It's actually doctor, well more like pediatrician. I graduate medical school in June.

I think I figured out a solution that I think will make Itzel and me happy. I have to take the next part of my exam the first week of September. Most likely, I will be going home to California to take it there, since I am familiar with that testing center. And if the breeder does have a puppy for me that is born in June or a little later, she will most likely be coming home to me in September/ October. So my plan is to take Itzel with me to NY in September instead of June. I believe someone had mentioned that as an option. This way, I will be settled in and she won't be alone for too long before her little sister comes along.

Thank you so much for all of your advice, everyone. I truly appreciate it. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted. With this solution, I think Itzel and I can both be really happy.

I'm really happy for you that you found a way to try to make it work! You're very lucky that your family has been a solid support system for both you & Itzel. But I'm sure you already know that I wish you the best of luck with little Itzel, your new baby Yorkie & your blossoming career. Don't forget that we all want to see pics of Itzel's baby sister when you get her!

Thank you so much to everyone who gave me their advice. I truly appreciate it. My family has been very wonderful. I think my parents now want to keep her. LOL! But I adopted Itzel and she is my responsiblity and I need to take responsibility of her again. Thank you so much for everything and you can be sure I will post pictures of her little sister as soon as I bring her home. Hopefully I will end 2013 with a Yorkie. I've been saying I was going to get one since 2009 or so. LOL! Keeping my fingers crossed. Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!
