I gotta schedule Uni soon too. Her breath is kicking! I've been really bad about brushing her teeth, and even using the spray. She's got a bit of yellowing going on. I think this summer will be the time to get it done. Never had it done on her yet, she's 6 already.

He already had a dental in 2011 when he went under for his other tooth issue. So he's on his 2nd. It probably could've waited until summer but I just wanted to get it over with (I'm paying with my tax returns too).

Plaque build up on canines was yellowing and it was mainly all the front teeth. Back looked good to me...

But I think I feel so guilty because its not like his teeth are SUPER bad but they're bad enough to me ha, and breath was getting stinky.

I'm rambling. I just dropped him off and I feel SO guilty ugh he was shaking when they carried him off. I told them to call me ASAP- lol, I will pick him up as soon as I can.

I like HealthyMouth. I have this gel stuff but it got really messy! It's a horrible green color too. And you use q-tips to apply. I kinda stopped using everything (bad dog mom).

But I think the plaque off stuff didnt really do anything.

Ill probably just use OraVet (vet is applying while he's under), and then using kit they send home. Also HealthyMouth. And cet toothpaste.

I asked if they knew the order they go in for surgeries, they said they usually do spays/neuters first. I told them he is very nervous in a cage and that kind of environment. I just hope he does ok.

Dental cleanings are a stressful necessary. I cannot believe Jackson (and Sophie Kate) will be 5 this year- where did the time go.

Jackson came out of anesthesia good! I can pick him up at 12:30. They did say he had gingivitis and stuff and his gums bled a lot. So she said it was good I did now as a preventative measure before it got worse. But they werent terrible. no teeth needed pulled or anything.

That's great news! Good thing you took him in, your momma instinct is right on. Mimi is due for her annual cleaning...I brush all four b4 their bedtime religiously, but she's a plaque magnet!
