| Can you get a Yorkie's coat trimmed? I was really wanting Jasper's coat, to be trimmed, and make it a bit more neat. I don't want it short, and I really dislike puppy cuts. Do you think groomers would offer this service? |

| I'm sure they will. I've had that done before. You just have to tell them EXACTLY how you want it. Show them how much you want taken off & explain that you only want a TRIM. Good luck!

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Of course you can just go in for a trim. Just give exact instructions to the groomer. Maybe you can have them trim feet, nails, eyes, nose and pits too.

| Thanks. I found a very good service. Well so it appears. Has yet to be tested. They actually do it outside your door, in a sort of 'trailer'. They only handle one dog at a time, so they come, do it, and go. It's about 25 pounds for the cuts, plus you get free ' essential health check, including eyes, teeth, gums and coat, Nail clipping and Ears cleaned or hair removed to prevent infections and mites'. I'm hoping they listen to me. And don't clip him. I love his hair getting long. I just want it to look more tidy. Last edited by Summerbummer; 04-11-2013 at 08:26 AM. Reason: price |

| A good groomer knows how to do what you want done to your dog's coat. Be careful. Many groomers only know how to shave a dog and are not willing or able to do a nice trim. Make sure your groomer is comfortable doing what you request or you may be greatly disappointed. |

| This is how the lady that runs it describes herself 'I have a City and Guilds Level 3 qualification in dog grooming, and a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care. I'm also fully trained in Pet CPR and First Aid'. Hmm When they ring me back I'll ask in detail about cutting him. And mention the chinese crest style and see if they are use to these sort of requests. |

| I would be sure and take that picture with me if its what you want. When I think chinese crested I think of the face and body being bald, and the picture you posted the body was shorter but not close shaved, and the face wasn't short at all. |
