I give teddy salmon oil on his food. This was because it has been warm and windy lately and his skin coat was getting static and dry

So, I started putting coconut oil on my legs. I put it on pretty thick on my ankles & halfway up to my calves. And that's how I get them to eat their coconut oil. They think their eating my lotion. The bonus is...it keeps my legs soft & moisturized

And it smells like summer!

Well I'm glad you think I'm insane! My husband sure does! Another thing I started doing a few weeks ago, was shampooing & conditioning one week...then only conditioning the next week. I still wash the face, privates & feet with shampoo/espree facial wash, but not the body coat or the legs. I only use conditioner on those parts. It's only been a few weeks, but it has definitely cleared up his flakey tummy. His coat where the part is on the back is definitely less dry and shinier. I also brush his coat with a soft boar bristle brush at night when we're lying in bed watching TV. They say it's supposed to distribute that natural oils. I don't know if it really helps, but it's good bonding time for us.

!!! Our dog always want to lick our lotion off too...but here's an idea that makes it good for them. Loving it.

Lol. I meant to say in my previous post..."I'm glad you DON"T think I'm insane". My husband thinks I'm totally nuts & makes fun of me everytime I do it. But hey...it works!
