| Bathing...HELP I have had my lily girl for 1.5 yrs. I have always given her a bath once a week maybe every 1.5 weeks. How much is too much bathing? Since we have moved to Japan I feel like I need to bathe her more often. Her tears have gotten worse and has more tear stains that I CAN NOT get out no matter what. She is white in the face so its really easy to see. I use baby shampoo for her face and that doesn't seem to be working anymore. She also smells bad quicker than usual. I don't know what else to try that is safe for her. Also, she is not allowed to go outside for a few more months here since she is under quarantine (international rules) so it cant be the environment too much can it?? I don't have this problem with Taka but he was also born here in Japan so it might not affect him as much. ANY SUGGESTIONS? |

BANNED! | I have a stinky boxer who needs a bath once a week too. Sometimes she stinks bad though, so what I've been doing with my boxer is using a waterless shampoo. It's a power & I brush it threw her fur. It actually works well for about two days. I also wash her bedding frequently well. On my new yorkie, I use pet grooming wipes daily. Being such a young pup, she gets messy all the time. I wish I could help with her tears but I haven't had that problem yet.. Hope I've helped some |

BANNED! | Oh np I've been using an all natural one that smells very baby powdery..I love it. As we speak I'm trying to find it so I can give you the name. In the mean time, I've tried another one as well that I really liked & they have it on amazon w/good reviews too. It's all natural, here's the link for that one Amazon.com: Fresh Dog Dry Shampoo Powder for Dogs... |

BANNED! | Also, I've used the waterless sprays but I don't think they work as good as the powders. The power I can really work it threw her fur w/the brush. And I find that it has a drying affect that really gets rid of that oily grossness |
