Woohooo! :cheer: Give her a big hug from everyone at YT! :ghug: |
Thank goodness! I have been at work all day worrying about this little one! So glad she is safe! |
Glad everything finally worked out OK. I am thinking about having my new puppy shipped to me, but after reading what happened to you I'm more than a little frightened. |
I'm just getting updated on this thread from when you were going to head to the airport to pick up your pup! I can't imagine what you went through but by what I've read it sounds just awful, terrible, horrible!!! I think if I had stayed with the thread, I would have gone beserk with worry myself. I can't tell you how happy I am for the arrival of your baby and know that now she's in good hands, safe and sound. So happy for you and that precious bundle!!:) |
I am so glad she is home safe. |
CONGRATULATIONS on your new baby. Cant believe what you went through. Just glad you were United finally!! Hugs from Steph & Jasper :animal-pa |
So happy and relieved for you. Well, there are many of us here who will be able to sleep tonight and not be up worried sick about your baby's whereabouts. What a scary ordeal! Thank goodness she is safe in your arms now. |
I am so glad she is safely home with you. You both need a good rest. |

Yorkiemom1 wrote:I have shipped puppies with no problems. There is always the possibility that something can go wrong....it is documented that it happens. I now encourage owners to come pick their babies up, since Southwest is so economical and you can fly with the pup in the cabin...a round trip ticket for the owner plus the $75.00 for the pup one way home, is usually cheaper for the new owner than the shipping costs on the airlines + the health certificate required to ship + the shipping crate....and a lot safer and we get to meet each other!....usually treat them to some Texas Bar-B-Q also! But when I do ship a pup, NEVER a tiny baby, and I always stay with my babies at the airport and WATCH that baby get loaded onto the "cart" that carries the baby to the plane.....I never just drop them and leave. I usually put a strip of tape on the crate with my name and phone number and a message to "CALL ME....THIS PUP IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN (WHERE EVER) BY 5PM TONIGHT!!!!...DELTA, FLIGHT 662!!!!"*** I think this is excellent advice if shipping is the only choice. Good luck on your new pup. When are you supposed to get him/her? |
