| The ugly duckling stage..... I was wondering if any ones yorkies are or have gone through the ugly duckling stage..... what i mean is my beakers hair is changing around his face and its not making him look so cute as he was before this started...he is my baby and cute no matter what, but he just looks a little weird right now.... kinda reminds me of the story (The Ugly Duckling) the duck was not that ugly, but was different to every one, yet when he grew up he was the most beautiful thing...is it just me or do you know what i mean....

| yes, that has happened to my lil one. When his hair started coming in light, he sort of looked like he was balding but it was his hair was light almost close to white so everyone thought he was losing his hair.. ha ha ha ! He was still the cutiest thing in the world to me. Now he's past the stage and he sure turned out to is my handsome lil fur ball baby . |

| they are losing there puppy hair (fluff and fur) at about 6 months the adult coat starts taking over now that is where you start seeing the wonderful changes! We all remember the ugly duck stage without our two front teeth as a kid? something like that

| Yep, Gracie is part of the "I need a dye job" gang too! She looks like she's gone prematurely gray! I'll be glad when this "stage" is over too. I've also noticed her shedding quite a bit, I assume this is her getting rid of her puppy coat too?

| Wow, that is cool. We don't get out to Destin that much since we have kids. I will be getting my puppy on the 20 (he is my 9th wedding anniversary present from my husband) and am very exited. He will be 8 weeks and two days! I'm not sure how big he is the breeder hasn't given me his weight but he should be between 4-5 pounds full grown. I have added some pictures for you to see. We haven't named him yet as we are still trying to pick a name. I like Trevor, Sebastian, Carter, & Bailey. Anyways we may have to let our puppies play some day. |
