YT 3000 Club Member | going to arizona Im going to arizona tuesday and my friends are watching chester, I have not left him in about 5 years, Im missing him already. My neighbor wanted to watch him and just check on him a few times a day and I thought heck no. I cant have my baby sleeping by himself. I have his stuff packed and instructiuons included, Im having anxiety today from it. I know my friends will take great care of him, she is home all the time and loves her husband. |

| Sounds like he will be in good hands. I'm sure several phone calls a day will ease your mind. I fret about my dogs when I leave more than I ever remember fretting over leaving my kids Have a safe trip! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Try and enjoy your trip. I am going on vacation to Vegas with my DD next month and I am already worrying. Hopefully my sister is coming to stay with them but I still worry.

| I know how you are feeling. I left my pup with a very good friend who has two Yorkies. They are actually best friends with my dog. I would call at least once a day to check on her. She did very well and had the best possible care. It's great to know they are well taken care of, but that doesn't help with the guilt you feel for leaving them behind. Don't be surprised if your pup tries to ignore you when you get home. That happened to me a couple of times when I returned home. It won't last long. Maybe mine was trying to teach me a lesson. I felt horrible. Have a great trip!
