| Our little guy (Gronk) went from 6.7 lbs in January to 8.1 lbs in March, from 6 months old to 8 months old. I think he's even bigger now. He's a Biewer, and had charted to be 6-7 lbs full grown when he was younger, but he wanted to be exceptional and didn't want those charts to be accurate! |

| Mandie is a year old (well on Friday). I'm not sure yet if she's done growing. I heard they start filling out after they hit their height/length maturity. I'll have her weighed tomorrow when I take her to the vet. She weighed 5.3 lbs at 10 months old. She never had a huge jump - just steady. At 6 months, she was 4.5 lbs...at 4 1/2 months, she was 3 lbs 10 oz.

| Remy had a jump around a year.. from 3.5 to 4.5 in a month or so. Then at around 2 she hit 5 lbs. and now at 3 she is close to 5 1/2. Dresses I made her 1 year ago are a little snug. I think she may be a little chubby btw.. she charted to be 3 1/2 to 4 lbs. I honestly think I read the chart wrong. Both her mom and day are 5 lbs.

| Did any of these girls mentioned above get spayed during that time? Do males gain weight after being neutered? |

Oscar was nuetered early @ 4 months due to serious humping issues so i can't say if wait gain was due to that.. I have heard that some dogs do gain weight after nuetering and some don't.. | |

| My female was 3.8 pounds when she was spayed at 8 months. She now weighs 5.5-6 pounds. She finished filling out after she turned 2.

YT 2000 Club Member | Well, I have two puppies and one might be done growing except for filling out some. She has stayed at 3.6 lbs since she was 6 months. She stopped growing in height and length at that time, too. She is now 9 months and had her spay done at 8 months. I haven't weighted her lately, but I am hoping she has put on a few ounces. I would love her to fill out some. Max was 4 lbs at 1 1/2 yrs when we got him. We had him neutered and he put on a lot of weight! We are now trying to reduce that weight to 5 lbs. He is way too heavy for his height and waddles when he walks! He is now weighing 6.11 lbs.

| Laddy gained a full pound after being neutered and he was 3 years old. May I say it was a very much needed pound too. He is just the perfect size for his frame now, as before he looked skinny.

| Mandie was spayed at 6 months. She's gained a little over a pound since then, but I can't necessarily attribute the spay..she was still going to grow from where she was at 6 months.
