| Is Rufus just a big yorkie? Hi everyone, I'm a new member in this community. Hopefully you can help me out I have a 15 month old yorkie named Rufus. We got him from a home breeder, the mom was present and she looked like a normal yorkie. But Rufus is really big, he weights 13 pounds and his coat is turning light grey. We wonder if he's just a big yorkie or if maybe he's a mix with an other breed or if maybe he's a silky? What do you think? In the pictures below you can see the mom, when he was a pup and him now Thnx |

YT 2000 Club Member | I, totally agree that he is definitely a yorkie! There seems to be quiet a range in size of yorkies.

| Sounds like Rufus is a good candidate for the teapot club. Their are many members whose yorkies range from 7lbs on up. Check it out. In case you are wondering, yorkies who are larger than the standard are affectionately known as teapots. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...apot-club.html |

| Welcome to YT - I, like the others, agree and think Rufus is just a big Yorkie (more of him for you to love) He is really cute!
