| consider yourself lucky, most of my past ones barked a lot. Thankfully Lola is not a barker and only when she sees a dog go by or if someone rings the bell. When we have play dates here I am amazed at how much barking the other dog often does while playing. LOL it reinforces why I want to keep Lola an only child. Give that cutie Oscar a kiss from Lola

| My Yoshi rarely barks. My Morkie, Momo, is a barker though. I was so spoiled before she came home. When Momo barks at something, Yoshi looks at her & then looks at me as if to say, "Aren't you going to tell her to shut up?" Lol.

| Vocal little brat here. Barks at everything: cars, neighbors, other dogs, cats, squirrels, birds...etc. The list is extensive. Currently mmmwwwwwfff-ing at me for a piece of cheese and the volume is steadily increasing as I ignore him....he just ate 4 green beens...piggo...My last dog (lab mutt rescue) was very quiet and very rarely barked. Sigh....

| Now you have me thinking Wanda....Georgie is probably somewhere in the middle with barking. He does bark when someone rings the doorbell or a dog walks by outside. He also barks when a dog is on the TV. As a matter of fact there are commercials that when he hears the jingle he starts barking before he even sees the dog LOL. I wouldn't say he's excessive but he definitely let's us know he is there PS Oscar is a cutie

YT 2000 Club Member | Wanda, I have some pretty quiet ones here, too! Max almost never barks, just whines a little! Teeka is more vocal. She barks when she is excited about going outside, but is a whiner. too! Now, Tatiana has never barked but then she is only 14 weeks!

| I'd say I'm pretty lucky. Sam does the mmmwwf thing when he wants me to play with him. He does whine more than I would like at times. The only time he really gets vocal is when I get home at night. He knows the sound of my car and when he hears it he will jump up on the back of the sofa and bark like a maniac until I get in the house and tell him hello.

| I unfortunately do not have a non barking Yorkie. I have a Yorkie who barks just to let me know she is sitting right next to me on the couch.

| Ella is not a barker (but she does the usual alert bark), she's very quiet compared to her maltese sister Lily! Though she rarely barks, she does whine if you aren't paying attention to what she wants. Instead of using her energy to bark she lets out a itty bitty whine to get her way.

| Soooo there might be a chance that my 4 mo. old barking barbie might change? She is non stop when my other dogs enter the room!!! She wants to be out of her kennel and romping with everyone else. I have to re-arrange animals in my house so she gets her play time and I get my me time (rare). At work with no other animals around she is totally different. She is sleeping in my arms right now getting ready to bark bark bark tonight. What's a Yorkie mom to do???

| Princess Sophie doesn't bark very much also. I was beginning to wonder if that would change. I imagine it could. LOL
