Sophie never barks! She's a rescue dog so that could have something to do with it. She only barks if the doorbell goes off on the tv . Mia is 5 months and just barks if she hears someone outside (we live in an apartment). |

Jessie never made a peep the first month she was here. Her bark is so soft you barely hear it ( the vet thought she was debarked, she wasnt) although she has found it...She is most def. a SNIFFER though! she has to sniff everything |
Cali rarely barks, but she is a trained service dog so when she does barks it is because I did not address her first cue and she is always right in my face when she does. |
Mine bark at the doorbell, phone, in the car, and at some dogs. When they are at their window seat in my bedroom, they will bark at anything that moves. It's a game. They definitely encourage each other. |
Joel doesn't bark at anything, that's good and bad. Yesterday he saw his first moose out the window by himself and let out one litte bark just to say "wtf is that!" But I do wish he would bark when the bus is waiting outside, he just sits there and stares at it instead of telling me ! Haha |
If I'd a seen the moose, I probably would've barked too :D |
Tyson is an average barker...but he especially loves to bark when he wants to go outside and I ignore him. I just tell him to hush and then he barks in a whisper, lol, that is his "inside voice." |

Well can I just tell you all my girls are bark-a-holics!!! They bark to eat , they bark to be held, they bark when I shut cupboard door, doorbell, looking outside, left alone etc! I would not know what to do with a quiet yorkie! |
I have one of those non barking yorkies..She only barks when she wants my attention, but when people come over, they obviously (according to her) have come to see her..lol..But she very rarely barks..I wish she did bark more often.. |
Mine rarely barks, only on the occasion when my Aussie and lab start howling. |
I've got 2 quiet ones and I love it. :D |
