What am I? 4 Attachment(s) Hi guys...Im wondering what you thoughts are on my little foster. She was found as a stray at 5 months old so she her parents both may be seversl mixed breeds...however every where we go people ask and I really dont know what to say. She didnt look very yorkie to me until I recently when I had her hair cut and I think she does a bit more now...however Im curious what you think I have been telling people lately that she is yorkie mix but everyone wants to know yorkie mixed with what  I will try to post her pics from age 6months on...I think she looks very different now as her colors changed alot and she was very sick when I first got her so she looks ill in her baby pics. I couldnt find any good ones of her tail but it curls up over and rests on her back. Her black fur is coarse and seems to stop growing at about 2-3 inches. |

She reminds me a LOT of DBlain's Lola. I wonder if she is a Yorkie-Pom? |
I am no expert, but she has a lot of yorkie in her! Really a very pretty girl, too! I don't know about the tail....does it curl over her back? |

She looks like a morkie to me |

I was thinking possible morkie, too. I think it is very obvious that she's yorkie and something. The tail curling over the back leads me to stay with pom. She's just so darn cute! |
She's 100%.....cute, for sure! :) |
Since the tail curls over the back and it has fur the sticks out....I would say yorkie/pom mix, but more yorkie! |
Thanks everyone I think shes pretty cute too and for sure the smartest dog Ive ever had...which Im not sure if thats working out to my benefit  Its funny when people have been interested in adopting they are so deadset on knowing what she is...I dont know why we cant just settle for terrier but they want more. Maybe I will say she is special edition yorkie/maltese/pom designer series :D |
Hehe! A MorkiePom :D |
Depending on how much money you want to put into knowing, you can have your yorkie go to vet for a "wisdom panel" which will tell you the breed. That's what DH requested and found out that Sabu is Corgie, Bassett Hound and Australian Shepherd. Starlette |

Lulu does not spin...she has very terrier personality traits. Im going to look at Lola now...thank you! |
I agree with everyone else Yorkie-Pom or Morkie. She is so cute and her sweet face would make me melt! :) |
here is a pic I posted on the uncropped tail thread. LOL can't remember where I saved it on my computer so hope it posts. I think this pic and your third one on your first post look pretty similar http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...asement-2-.jpg |
Awww she's so cute!! I'm no expert, but I def see the yorkie in her. :) I didn't know spinning was a pom thing. Uni does three different spins. |

Lola def is more yorkie looking. Lulu is my first tail dog and I love it. Im so used to nubs and Lulus is so cute. I can tell when she is really happy because its curled up a few times. They do resemble each other. I had a hard time with Lulus hair and you can see from some of the pics. We have found dogs with longer hair get adopted faster so i tried to keep it long but she hates her topknot and just looked scraggly most of the time...but im not so sure Lulu has the right coat to be long like Lola although Lulu looks really different now that she has hit the one year mark and maybe her adult coat will be smoother. |

Adorable, I love her sweet little face. I vote Yorkie, Pom |
Not all morkie because both maltese and yorkie have full coats. Maybe yorkie/maltese/pom |
if you go with yorkie-pom you could call her a porkie! |

I had thought with her stocky body, short legs and fat feet a weiner dog was there somewhere but that just complicates things Quote:

She's really cute! I was thinking morkie, too. |
Aww, she is adorable!! Love her name too, it suits her. My first thought was Morkie but I could see where she could be a pom/yorkie mix as well. Does she shed? That there should tell you whether she has pom in her or not, Pomeranians have double coats and shed a lot whereas Maltese have hair like yorkies and are non shedding. Maltese like yorkies can come in cotton coats so her hair could still be fluffy if she is a Morkie but again she shouldn't shed. Oh and my Maltese spins too, the only one of my dogs that spins and for some odd reason when my brother cranks her tail, she spins faster and crazier.:p She loves it when he visits because he always does this and they both get some sort of weird kick out of it, lol. |
