She is definitely a cutie - I was originally thinking morkie but now thinking yorkie pom - since you said she sheds. Yes, poms shed a ton! I was thisclose to getting a white pom but due to it shedding, I ended up with Jack - best decision I ever made (well, that and getting little Izzy) :D |
I don't know but 110% darn cuteness is what I say she is! |
Yorkie pom mix |
Forgot to add she is adorable as heck. |

Lola sheds but different than I think a pom does, all of a sudden I will see dark puff balls on the carpet, I used to wonder what it was then realized it was fluffy balls of her hair, when I brush her a ton of hair comes out on the brush. I never had that with my purebred yorkies, yet she does not leave strands of hair on clothing, furniture or her bed like a lab or golden would. I read a lot about the pom's hair and like someone else said they have two coats, from what I read females go through the puppy uglies with their hair since it tends to change a lot between ages 1 & 2 , plus if I recall it also changes with the season. goggle that when you have a chance. The thing about mixes is you really never know what traits you will get, it's a fun waiting game. |
I have had poms and yorkies and I agree with those who say pom-yorkie. As far as shedding our poms were brushed daily which I am sure DBlains little one is and they only would have the little tufts of hair found once in a while. Not tons of hair like some say they get with theirs. She is definately a beautiful little girl. I will say though our poms hair didn't feel coarse it was very soft. |
Just tell them she is a yorkie mixed with extra cutness...and you didn't have to pay extra for the cutness factor cause she found you:) |
What a cutie!! I think with the curly tail and the shedding that she has some Pom mixed in with the Yorkie. Whatever her mix is, she is just adorable! |

defintely 100% dog and 200% cuteness, she is a yorkie plus a little of some else, what I'm not sure. :animal36 |
All cute, that's for sure :DI am most definitely no expert either, but mostly yorkie I would say. She is soooo pretty with that silver and black color. I don't think I have ever seen a dog quite those colors. She is a doll! 100% cute, like someone else said! |
Yep i agree 100% cute !! |
My Brutus is a Yorkie/Pom mix and doesn't shed. He has more of a Pom coloring - like a carmel color with a "skunk stripe" of gray hair down his back. Like DBlain said- you never know what you are going to get with a mix. I have no idea what your baby is mixed with - but like everyone else stated - super cute! |

Just wanted to say that I watch Lulu Belle's updates on my FB everyday and I always comment and share. She's just too beautiful - her forever home is out there :) |
Im in VA too or I would consider it as Jess needs a pal.... |
I think I would guess Yorkie/Pom also for several reasons. The Pom hair grows to a definite length and because the Pom has that thick undercoat. I think that is what I see that is making this little girl's fur look kind of wire like. She is adorable. They are breeding white Poms now also and of course the tail fits in as well. I think if she had Maltese or Shih Tzu in her that her coat would grow longer. The ears stand up so well that it seems she would have to have parents with upright ears. My second guess would be a long haired Chi. When someone sees her and really falls in love with her they are not going to care what she is mixed with. |

Oh my goodness. She is such a sweetie! I'm trying to figure out how I could get to California so I could adopt her. Avery wants her to be his sister SOOOOO bad. They even look like brother and sister. |

The weight is not correct she was close to 13 lbs last time I weighed her and she may be bigger now because that was around 10 months old. She is very solid and stout so she looks to weigh less. However she must photo smaller..I did have one applicant that I told at least 5 times on the phone that she was 13+ lbs and she said she was fine with it...she met Lulu and said I didnt know she was so big  Anyway she does get a ton of applicants actually more than any foster Ive ever had. I have a couple things Im not budging on which is a playful doggie sibling, a yard and someone near southern ca. because she cant fly. I dont know if you read her bio but something happened to her before I got her that made her very afraid of people. I have alot of dogs afraid of people but Lulu is different because she isnt skittish or nervous. She is just fast so when you reach towards her she darts away. She is very difficult to touch or catch. Most dogs that are scared of people are submissive so you feel bad for them...Lulu appears to people that dont know her as kinda snobby because she kinda likes to perform and show off when people come over she plays with all her toys and brings them over to drop near you. She sits in front of people and tilts her head side to side in a curious sweet way, but she will not let you touch her and she has a strong presence about her. She literally shows no weakness so I think people cant connect to her as abused. We have had her 6 months and she is sooo much better than in the beginning. We have had 5 applicants over this 6 months that I approved for adoption...she met them all and they decided no after meeting her :( a couple of them were really early on and Lulu was just to wild and feral...so i get that. What people dont see that I have seen over my 6 months. She is hard to describe but her strong tough side is an act. When we first got her and I had to groom or give medicine to her my husband and I had to slowly close all doors in the house until we were down to one room and I could pick her up once she knew she couldnt escape. Once I had her she did nothing no shaking, growling, biting nothing...didnt even try to escape she just acts frozen...however once I was done with whatever I had to do I would set her down and she would run away vomit, poop and pee. She was petrified to death she just wont show it. Now when I pick her up still shows nothing...sometimes she grunts a little but no more vomiting so i know she is feeling better with people and I really believe she is to curious and by nature to happy to remain this distant with people. She also is a very affection animal with my dogs or any dog. she likes to cuddle, lick, play and just be close so once she lets go of her barrier with people she will be a lover because its just how she is. Whoever adopts her is getting probably the most amazing little creature I have ever seen and they are going to be one lucky family. She is so smart and so happy all the time! I love her and she is so welcome here as long as it takes to find that person that understands her. If my dogs were not seniors and she wasnt so playful I would never let her go but its unfair to keep her she wants so bad to play and we work alot its so hard for me to get her to playdates as often as she needs to! |
