| sigh...will they ever be girly girls????? Ruby and Rosie started getting ready for Easter last night with a bath. Brushed them up so nice this morning...put the cute bows in and dresses on. I think that's their cue to turn into hoodlums...Rosie starts off by going outside to pee. Only she finds a snowbank to rub on roll in slide down. Meanwhile while mommy is taking off after Rosie Ruby decides she wants to run in the mud. Not once, not twice but three times!!!! I get them in clean them up and they look ALMOST like they did this morning. For all of ten minutes..Rosie decides she doesn't like Ruby's bow...pulls it out and fluffs her hair...everywhere. Ruby must have decided she didn't like Rosie's whole outfit.Rosie's bow is hanging half down her face and Ruby has pulled her dress almost over Rosie's head...SIGH....where are my sweet diva girls!!!

| Ha! That's too funny. Sounds like my girl/tomboy. They would all get along so well. Heck, I don't even try to dress Mandie up anymore except for pics. I snap her pics, give her treats, and then she's nekkid again. Love reading about RnR's antics hehe

| Short answer NO , I'm looking at Zoey and Abbey and thinking the same thing. I love having my son and fiance visit with their pup but when it rains the whole easter weekend and temperature drops by 15 degrees it makes for quite a difficult. I have an area on the patio for them to play and another to do their business but all good manners seem to dissappear when the girls get together! |

| Although these little darlings look adorable in their bows and dresses I think it is more for our enjoyment than theirs. Gracie would rather have been born a hound dog! She has no idea of how cute she is. She seriously thinks her job is to boss both man and beast on our property. I used to have a little Maltese that could find the nearest dead worm or other smelly thing in the back yard right after a bath. She hated smelling clean and pretty. |

| I need help too ! I love girly things for my girls. Bows, dresses and diva shirts, frilly panties and cute PJs. My boys are mostly naked except for a top knot. I do buy them holiday shirts. (Guess because I had all sons, I really enjoy dressing the girls.) Like you, I tried to dress everyone cute for Easter. But, I can't seem to get pictures when they look cute and girly. Some of the ladies on here take fabulous photos. If you learn how to make yours stay cute and neat, let me know how to do it. Julia hates clothes and hair stuff. She tries to take them off herself and the other Yorkies too. When it is not a holiday, the boys just get little stretch terry cloth scrunchie. Julia can't stand even that, she will drag Abba around by the hair. Poor little Abba yelps for help. I have to make Julia stop. Ruby won't let Julia bother him. Gracie will nip Julia after a few tugs on her dress. That leaves Ginny Joy, and she is playful back, she is a lot bigger than Julia, so can not really be bullied. They do zoomies through the house and out the doggy door to roll in the grass. Very shortly they are a mess. Ginny treats dresses like toys you wear.

| [QUOTE=Teresa Ford;4174941]. Some of the ladies on here take fabulous photos. If you learn how to make yours stay cute and neat, let me know how to do it. HAHA! It CAN be difficult! Being all set up in advance, and having an extra hand (handler) helps a lot. I'm one of the lucky ones that has a photo-cooperative girly diva. I can't imagine the alternative!

| Any cute pictures I have taken of R n R have been accidental or flukes. Now I have a friend who R n R love and she can get them to take the cutest damn pictures without even trying!!

| i think you have to get them used to it as a pup, or that window closes unless thy're predisposed to being 'girly". Mine was an ex-show dog, so she was used to being fussed over, but didn't wear clothes. When I got Lexie she was 5 1/2. She soon figured out wearing clothes meant mama's taking me somewhere. Fun!!

| Usually Rosie is kind of diva-ish. She has NEVER messed with Ruby's hair before nor her own. I think - at least the snow part- was ALL my fault. Rosie is one of those unique yorkies that LOVES snow. The more she can tunnel squirm roll in it, the happier she is. I should have thought about that. Ruby is just Ruby...she has this gigantic personality that she goes through the day her way. If she is in the mood to dress up...she is a perfect angel...if she isn't in the mood...well...that's what today was all about- Ruby's Way. I truly would never ever want her to change any piece of her (other than I wish she was 4.5 lbs instead of 3.5lbs but)!! They were buggers all day chasing each other trying to get the bows out and the dresses off.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I feel you. All I would love is a cute top knot and a few times a shirt or two. . . But NO ! Galen hates to be dressed in anything. He wiggles everywhere. When I finally get the little bit of a top knot that he has in a clip. He reaches up with his paws, and grabs ahold of the bow and try's to rip it out of his hair. It is not just the girls.

| Ruby and Rosie's antics had me laughing. Although I have boys, I share your frustration in trying to make them pretty for a picture. I brush one perfectly, and while I work on the other, the first one undoes his hair. Max likes his head fluffy like a lion's mane.
