| Looking for a Yorkie Poo We are looking to add a Yorkie Poo to our family. I'm having a hard time locating one that doesn't come from a puppy mill. Any suggestions on where to get one? Thanks! |

| Reputable breeds don't breed mixes because they breed to better the breed and there are so many mixed breed dogs and puppies in shelters making more is just kinda sad for all the ones who might not be wanted because they are mixed. A rescue is probably the only way to go unless you want to support a bad breeder. The problem with mixes is you never know what you are going to get they could have a poodle attitude or a yorkie attitude, a poodle coat or a yorkie coat and so on.

| I agree definitely check the shelters & especially rescues. They have all kinds of beautiful mixes. I just adopted a Morkie in Dec and plan on adopting another rescue soon...they have so many needing furever homes.

| I agree with what the others have said... Check your local shelters and Petfinder. Good luck! Please don't purchase a yorkiepoo from a breeder, there are too many that need homes to breed them intentionally!

| Check poomixrescue.com, but honestly, yorkiepoos are very hard to come by in a shelter. Good luck. I just got mine--my first dog ever. I only knew that I wanted some kind of poodle mix, so getting a yorkiepoo was really serendipity. |

| — Ohio Yorkie Rescue — ADOPTIONS —*RescueMe.Org I signed up on rescueme.org a while ago. Lately they've been emailing me about new adoptions. You can try that link above and look in your state to see what pups are near you. Within the last week, I've received 3 emails from them. Hope you can find one to love!

YT Addict | We just found my mom a yorkie-poo she is picking her up next week. Nebraska tends to have some Morkie and Yorkie-poo breeders also there is a dog rescue Little White Dog that has some. I am not sure how far you are from Nebraska tho. |

| Check into small breed rescues in your area. Sometimes you can find them on petfinder. They often rescue various small breed and "designer" dogs and give them a second chance at a good life. Sometimes they even have puppies. |

I'd rather go for the pedigree every time as you know what you're getting NEVER buy one of these designer mongrels from a breeder as they're only in it for the money A shelter is probably you're best bet | |
