| So many questions...so little time! Betti Paige has now started to sit at her bowl of food and just stare at me. So out of the bowl and onto a plate, she ate out of the plate for about a week, then sat and stared at the plate, now I put the food directly on the place mat under her bowls and she gobbles it up!!!??? Really? she has a major under bite and I thought it might be easier for her to pick it up on a flat surface? Or has she trained ME yet again? Also how much exercise/playing should she be getting? I have read that its not good to get them too exhausted since they are so very tiny. She is a 4 lbs and not an ounce of fat on her at all. Last night I could not get her to calm down she played from 4:30 to 9:30 when I finally made her lay down...and of course she was out like a light! Thank you all for any and all suggestions, helpful hints, advice it is certainly welcomed! |

I don't think you can over exercise a puppy of any kind..especially a Yorkie. They have more energy than the Energizer bunny. Mandie will let me know when she's had enough running in the back yard but that is her exercise - twice a day, she chases my other dog who is chasing squirrels, mail trucks, motor cycles lol. They run full force. And, Mommy needs to clean up the limbs in my yard so she also is getting some agility training jumping those limbs right now. You see how long she played last night? And she slept all night like a rock, huh? Perfect if you ask me

| Sounds wonderful to me. I'd love to get more than 3 or 4 hours sleep each night. LOL

YT 2000 Club Member | Is Sophie still not sleeping at night? So far, Tatiana has slept through the night since we brought her home! This really surprised us, especially the first night.
